I recently received an email from Free Lotto. Which I do Play. They claimed I won 1,000,000 Dollars. Of course I was excited. I checked into everything.

Hey there everyone my name is rob and the thing is i was involved in this scam but it never went to far. What i did was called the lottery agency around my area and asked if they have ever heard of them and to my surprise they told me no.
These people are very rude and hurt many people like us. i have 2 kids and i thought well what would i do with that kind of money give my kids the world. they sent me a form to fill out as well but i am not going to send it but the thing is they messed with the wrong person because i am not done with them yet, i will play with them for a bit get them all into it but anyways.

I received a letter that notify me I am a winner. I make the procedures correctly but I did not receive the cheques and the other informations.

Just a quick question…I received the same “winner” email the other day, I agree obvious scam, but I don’t see how they get anything from you out of a phone number and an address. How do they actually scam you? I replied and told them I didn’t sign up for anything, to see what they would send me and they asked for an address, phone number and email address (which they already have). Just curious how these scams work if what they’re asking for is general/public information already?

Yes, it got this mail a few days back and asked for clarification, of course no response… than googled the name. There should be more people posting to alert the public against scammers like this.
