Here is a phishing scam designed to really get your attention and is new! It’s called the Google Email Lottery International and pretends to be some type of lottery by Google, the worlds largest search engine.
It is all a scam and by all means, DO NOT respond to it. It is designed to steal your money and if you fall for this, you will never recover it.
There is no such thing as the Google Email Lottery International. I have included the email below for your viewing pleasure.

THIS IS A SCAM!!!!! Do not send your personal information to this. I have received an email from a “google awarness thing” and they said that i won 850,000 pounds. I called the polish google team via telephone, and they said that there is no such thing as a google awarness program and that they are dealing with this problem now because many people called in and asked if such a thing existed. The location of the email IP adress is in Bangladesh. This is a scam!!!
The funniest thing of all is that the Google Promotion Board Dr. Brian Robinson has a yahoo email address for you to send your information to.
Start changing any information that you gave them, such as credit cards, etc. It won’t take long for them to start spending and abusing the information. I’d go to the credit bureau and get protection – they have something that’s free which you can put on your account and requires extra verification! In fact, I’d go do that right now! Then call the credit card companies and explain what happened and get things changed. This will also set up a time line so you won’t get charged from the time of notice to the credit companies.

HI Guys, I am hoping to get through to the iMesh head office to notify them that I recieved on the 11 Feb a email Congratulating me fo winning a lottery held by iMesh no less. I got the same email from universalagent@universal.com from a lady called Annabel Fernandez, telling me I had won 790,000.00 euros, and to contact Mr Mendy Kitus to fill out a claim form, which asks for a next of kin contact, a copy of pasport or driving license, my sister is a legal secretary so she phoned the number, the people who answered the phone didnt speak English, so put the phone down on her. This may not just be a money scam, but also Identity theft as they will have passport/driving license photo DOB and bank details, so be very careful and remember what your mother/father always told you “If it sounds too good to be true, It most probably is!!!! Always check if in doubt before you part with any money or information about yourselves ok, Be alert not a loser!!

Hi I received one of these e-mails to-day and forwarded it on to my internet provider-I have not deleted the message yet because I wanted to check-out the Google Help Site for advise and landed on this Site where I am truly happy to be as I have read about this type of thing going on but not experienced anything like this before and in a way I feel very angry because the people who are sending these e-mails must really think we are all stupid where as sadly there are some very Naive folk out there.

I had sent the details and they sent me a email for choosing options of payment i.e. (i) Paying by courrier…..and (ii) Paying by Telegraphic Bank Transfer. Then they were demanding for identification verification by sending scanning copy of Either International Passport or Driving Licence as attachment with email completing/fulfilling the details required by them. Then I came in doubt abt scam and I used this site for genuineness.

I have just received an e mail telling me I had won £500,000 British pounds and immediately being aware it was a scam (why would anyone want to give me £500,000 when I had not even bought a lottery ticket???) found your site.
Is there anywhere that we should report these scams to try to cut down on the number of people duped by these tricksters?

I have received the same e-mail about a week ago, it ‘s clearly a scam. We need to do something to stop this, or something to prevent of. To all viewers send the message, notice people at least the most you care.

I have received the same email on tagged as the people who posted before me. I thought it might be real too, so I did contact the “claims agent” got a reply and filled out some form. Then I received an email telling me to pay barr. Terry Anderson 340 Euros to keep ‘my million euros’ safe for some reason, same as AHMED MOHAMMED KAMAL. I got suspicious too and googled Terry Anderson, Alpha Bank of Athens etc. it quickly showed the whole thing to be a scam.

The email is recirculating, just different contact people. My email has been clogged by these no-hopers and they have even threatened me not to talk to my bank. The sooner they are caught and dealt with the better for all internet users.

hi..I had that same e-mail for 16 days…i think that it was reall..so i had comunicate with the “agent”…thay said to me that I have won 1.000.000 euro but to keep that money i had to pay 340 euro so thay will save my money(that 1 million)from any thief ahahah..sooo i can’t be sure that is possible and i interesed and i found you who told me the truth that this Google email Lottary international is only a spam…thank you very very much

i received the email scam. they ask me to pay 320.00 euro for insurance purpose if i want to claim my one million fund. nearly, i wanted to reply. but when i investigated the whole thing, it just a fake.

its really nice to know that you have inserted this article about the Google Email Lottery scam. I have also notified the government of Greece to look into this scam .
Its sad to see that these people have become desperate for the money. I say– Earn it by dishwashing not theft.. you will never be happy.
